The Sanctuary

Magnolia Exotic Bird Sanctuary (MEBS) sits on 1 ½ acres and has grown to include 10 aviaries and 8 buildings on the property, all designed to provide the best possible environment for our birds. Over the years, we have renovated and redesigned the aviaries to continue improving their environment. Making aviaries that are as big as possible, easier to clean, and of the best quality is always at the forefront. We are constantly learning new ways to make that happen (and constantly growing!) so there is always a project going on at the sanctuary.

On this page, you'll find photos and videos of the sanctuary and some of the updates we've been able to do with the very generous support of volunteers and donors. We hope you'll also consider supporting current and future projects at MEBS.

Sanctuary is Electrified!

Every Aviary on the property has lights, plugs & switches.  No more extension cords on the grounds. We are set up for fans in the summer and heat in the winter.
